Our Story

It started at a kitchen counter.

R-Three was founded by a dietitian who couldn't find clean, traditional foods for her own family. So she made them — sprouting ragi on the counter, drying beetroot on the terrace, blending mixes by hand. Word spread. The kitchen grew. The principles never changed.

Relish. Rejoice. Rejuvenate. Three words that still guide every batch we make in Coimbatore.

Producer Stories

The people behind every jar.

01

Poongar rice — Madurai

The heritage women's rice of Tamil Nadu, almost lost to monocrops. We buy it directly from a cooperative of 40 families who refused to stop growing it.

02

Irula honey hunters

Each jar of our wild forest honey is harvested by hand from cliff hives in the Nilgiris by the Irula community — unheated, unfiltered, ethically gathered.

03

The women of Mandya

Our ragi comes from a women-led collective in Karnataka who germinate the millet in the traditional way — three days, two waters, one careful eye.

04

Reviving Mapillai Samba

Once the groom's rice — fed to young men for strength — Mapillai Samba had nearly disappeared. Farmers in Tiruvannamalai brought it back. We help carry it forward.
